i've jus finished deathly hallows...and i m bloggin bout it now...a review...! do not worry...i wun be revealin too much of the book's content lest any die hard fans is readin my blog...lols...!
on the whole...the book is not as captivating as chamber of secrets or order of phoenix (my fav...)but nevertheless, since its the last book of the series, it still has some hold on me when i was readin it...perhaps it is the desire to noe which characters will be dyin...lols..
sadly to say...none of the characters i predicted is dead...i find tt this book kinda lacks the usual innocence and humor like the previous titles...it is darker and much more on the thrillin side...but of cos...one impt ting which i m lookin out for when i m readin this book was the endin...becos of the fact that many gd books that i hav read always gav an unconvincin endin...read my previous book reviews...lols...i m reali glad to say that j.k. rowling had more or less done a tidy job endin this saga...lols...many wuld hav love the epilogue...
the part that reali got mi emotional was the death of dobby...sorry for spoilin...but i tink it was necessary to pen this down...mayb its because of the movie scene at the end of chamber of secrets movie...that dobby left a deep impression on mi...that scene was harry freein dobby as a house elf...and both of them had an unique bond since then...and in this last book...j.k. rowling kinda honoured this minor character wif a reali reali noble death...this was the only part that reali touched my heart...
in conclusion...the book is a great read...BUT could hav been better if impt characters were to die...makes it more earth shakin perharps?guess rowling didnt wana break all the young children's heart...
anihow...I BET ALL THAT HAS READ THE BOOK must HAV FELT A SENSE OF EMPTINESS AfTeR readin the last line, "All was well" =)
