itp is reali fun and enrichin...and i got myself a godmother...and a big family of frens which i will reali cherish even after my itp...they hav taught mi alot...stuff that cant be taught in the classrm...

jus finished wif my log book so here to blog...

had an adventurous ride wif dasao todae...lols...was goin to make a delivery to ACS independent sch...den i gotta help dasao wif directions to the sch...so i had a street directory in my hands and dasao on the wheels...so damn funny...due to my 'slowness' we actually missed 2 exits out from the highway...or it might b bcos of dasao fast drivin...lols...

so we kinda reached dere on time...but was given directions to the wrong staff room as apparently, they had a NEW staff room and an OLD one...so we were directed to the new one BUT the person waitin for us is at the OLD one...and it so happen tt the 2 places are so far apart...!

thus we were like travelin from one place to another....wif all the pots of plants...>.<

the most impt thing i learnt todae was to handle wif human beings...rangin from teachers, troublesome ppl, kids and occupied office ladies...

guess PR isnt reali an easy task...but tts the way of life i guess...gotta deal wif it...

hav been reali involvin myself wif the plants and herbs todae since mornin...been harvestin and doin transplantin..very interestin stuff...was reali glad that there were so much hands on work to do around...at least it will helps in understandin of the plants...

it reali take some skill to help beautify plants...lols...will need time to learn how to do it better...well ..they are the beauticians for plants...they are the pros...

another great day...gotta work hard for my DIY hot composition project...hope at the end of the month, it will hav some terrific results...

ailing jie is damn joker...can u imagine an auntie who jokes like a teenager?!well..tts her...whahahas...but she is damn smart....dun let her auntie look fool u...got a son hu is jus as joker as her...hahahahs!!!

miaojun is a spunky 26 year old...(finally someone young)she was the first student to be attached to the place...she was fr np...and she has been dere since den...woots...very capable woman...definitely independent...can reali tok...even better den mi...hahahs...!!AND...she got a nice tattoo on her back....!

ahbeng...the quiet senior...lols...his name dun suit his personality...hahahs...i m more beng...he is smart...and helped mi cleared alot of doubts...

well..overall...they made mi felt very homely dere...reali lookin forward to the nxt few weeks...

first challenge will be comin soon...will hav to be the guide on thurs for a large grp of visitors...mus reali rmb everytin..and of cos the charisma mus be dere...!

when i got home....my heart sanked...cos 'kobe' greeted mi at the door...and i was like FUCK...!why is KOBE HeRE?

gess...but i return to normal when i saw its long tail...nope...tts not kobe...den my mum told mi that the neighbour's bro jus gave him 2 dogs and was askin us if we wan...my mum...of cos chose 'lucky'(apparently a very cliche name) cos HE LOOK SO MUCH LIKE KOBE EXCEPT FOR HIS LONG TAIL AND SHORTER EARS AND HIS GENTLE PERSONALITY....

so we had him till jus now...my sis went bac to ask some qn and we will decide again if we wan him...but trusts mi...he had captured most of our family heart...

another dog...he is a pure maltese...so much like kobe...geess...!so much memory...

so nostalgic...startin from nxt week it will be a new kind of experience for mi and many of my classmates....itp will be startin and each of us will be goin thru the workin life...guess we wun hav much time to meet up...much less to say 4 of our gang are goin overseas...def gona miss havin the gay, dickhead, stonefish and shushu ard...haiz...

on a happy note, i finally got my MAN UNIted home jersey...its damn nice...took a pic...but lazy to upload...will get to see mi wear it soon...lols...thanks to ben and kevin(gay and stonefish) for accompanyin mi from queensway to peninsula plaza for the jersey...

well..i guess this period of time wasnt tt hard to go thru..at least not wif rappelz..a mmorpg tt ks recommended to mi jus after my surgery....it has accompanied mi thru the days and i m kinda like a nolifer playin it...but still its fun...!

removin stitches on fri...its so hard for mi to tok loudly,smile,laugh and eat the past few dyas...but i guess the days are only to get better from now on...oops...i should hurry bac to the dota game..the rest are still waitn...

todae mark the first day of hell!!

i jus finsihed the surgery...and the 8 STITCHES are KILLING mi,...!!!!!!ARGH....

every second is hell...i m like hyper now bcos of the pain that throbs from my chin...and the front jaw...

can see the stitches..the anaesthetic made my chin swell like fuck...its DAMN PAin...its indescrible...i m havin prob tryin to calm down..jus wana pen it down...the doc says it will cont for duno how long...and i even need slpin pills to help mi slp...GESS....duno how to get past the nxt few days..

every little noise wil make mi feel irritated...guess pain causes much undesirable effect...

well...the surgery was like nothin...the dentist and his assitant was more shocked den mi....

i only winced in pain during the drillin and was even tryin to cmmunicate wif them despite the anaesthetic...they told mi the last guy who went thru cyst removal...went out trembling...but the bottom line is the pain is still great no matter ur threshold is...

guess i shuld go and mediate to bring down the pain...hope that the painkiller can starts to come into effect...

aHhhhh....finally i m settled down in front of the com bloggin after a hectic mornin...todae's schedule was like wat i said ystd...i managed to do everytin in like 3hrs...lol...

woke up at the sound of my alarm ard 845...den after washin up and readin the news...i chionged down to the dentist...lols...told him bout the toothache and he FINALLY took an xray...

already told him the last time to take it...cos i felt that the pain was reali more serious den he thought...but he keep sayin take the medication first and stuff blah blah...so we took a look at the xray...and he told mi there might be a cyst under my gum affectin the root of my tooth...so he carried on and on...and explainin in layman term bout autospy and stuff...though i understood perfectly well...lols...

so he advised mi to hav a sugery asap to get rid of the cyst...oh well...he explained that all they need to do is to cut open my chin and remove the cyst by scrappin...woo...and he made it sound so simple..!hahas...bet all the docs in the world do the same thing...

cant believe my first surgery done on mi is actually gona be on my gums...thought that it might be like knees, ankles and all the other parts of the limbs...lols...guess life is unpredictable...

so i went home after tt and felt so motivated to do the maJOR MAKEOVER TO MY ROOM....thus i spent like 2hrs to clean, move,sweep,think, sneeze and many things...AHHAS...and now mY room lOOKS DIFFERENT...!hahs...

now can reali relax...n then heads to shoppin wif chan later in the afternn...go slack liao...

yoooohooo...todae marked the end of my exam period...!!

well...went to sakura at science center to hav a big big meal with the guys...!!!crapped alot and walked alot...hahahas...kinda lost our way...

one of the qn todae was...describe the 3 stages of child labour....welll..i din study tt part and most of the guys din..so we had a amusin discussion bout this after the paper...

kevin was like sayin...first stage...mother scream....2nd stage doctor scream...3rd stage baby scream...hahahas...and i tink its very tRUE...!!!though it wasnt the model ans...had a great laugh bout this...

aniwae..hope to spring clean my room tml...and i m already thinkin of a new layout...and will be goin shoppin wif chanz...hope to get some nice shirts for CNY...

yoo...here to write my review on 'Eldest' by Christopher Paolini

bet some of you guys hav already caught the show 'Eragon' and this book is the sequel to that show...and i had a hard time gettin the book as it was kinda new...published on 2005...credits to sherwyn for lendin it to mi...!

well...a brief history on the trilogy...

the first book 'Eragon' was written by the author when he was 15...and it was first published when he was in college...it took a long time for him to refine his plot and manuscript...and by sheer luck, he was able to publish his book...'eldest' was completed jus recently...2years ago...and the last of the trilogy is on its way to the shelves...its a much anticipated book for all the fantasy fans out dere...

honestly speakin...fantasy genre aint reali my type...except for major works such as LOTR...but this trilogy on the mythical dragon riders caught my attention when i saw the cover of the first book...a blue dragon named saphira...and the second book, a red dragon called thorn...

i stayed up late last nite to complete the book and it wasnt that hard as the endin of the book was grippin my nerves...din reali feel any fatigue despite readin into the wee hours...the endin was comparable to LOTR where a great battle between the different races commenced...(LOTR still remains as my fav though...)

the book started off by depicting eragon embarkin on a journey to the elves homeland to learn his trade as a rider...as elves' knowledge on magic is the greatest among the other races and they were the pioneers that intiated the bonds between dragons and riders...

the whole book is so interestin due to the many dilemma encountered by the different races and individuals that it makes you wana continue readin...insights to all this i suggest you guys to read the book...

for those hu is interested in readin the book, do not continue on readin this post...cos i will be revealin some of the twists in the story from here onwards...

one of the twists in the story which i personally love was that throughout the whole series, it was made clear that no riders survived after the invasion by galbotorix except for galbotorix himself wif shruikan his black dragon...eragon a newfound rider with saphira a blue female dragon...and brom whose dragon was murdered durin the years of the invasion...and he eventually died in the first book...thus there were no other riders other then this 2...but...dere was one elf rider who appeared in the 2nd book...and he, oromis, had a magnificient male golden dragon named Glaedr...and oromis was the one whom will tutor and guide eragon as a new rider passin down all the knowledge and skill needed to be a great rider...an interestin fact bout oromis was his nickname...'the crippled who is whole'...go figure this one yourself...

another twist was that the 2 eggs that galbotorix had, one hatched into saphira upon eragon's touch...another remained unhatched...and i personally thought tt it wuld only hatch in the third book...but to my surprise, it hatched into Thorn the red male dragon on the cover...i wuld not divulge who thorn's rider is and that is the twist of all twists in this book...thus, i shadnt reveal more...

and of course like any other fantasy authors, paolini also instilled certain situations in the book to depict stuff that are certainly happenin to us in the reality...such as a conversation between eragon and oromis after eragon's daily lesson...the whole argument was bout 3-4 pages long...so i will shorten to the best i can...

eragon presented himself to oromis, "master, it struck me last night that neither you nor the hundreds of elven scrolls i've read mentioned your religion. what do you elves believe in? "

"we believe that the world behaves according to certain inviolable rules and that, by persistent effort, we can discover those rules and use them to predict events when circumstances repeat."

eragon blinked and asked, "but what or who do you worship?

"nothin"

"you worship the concept of nothing?"

"no eragon. we do not worship at all..."

(after a whole page of describing how confused and bewildered eragon felt) he ask,

"where do you think the world came from then, if it wasnt created by the gods?"

oromis replied, "i would not necessary agree with you. but as that may, i canot prove that gods do not exist. nor can i prove that the world and everytin in it was not created by an entity or entities in the distant past. but i can tell you that in the millennia we elves hav studied nature, we hav never witnessed an instance where the rules that govern the world have been broken. that is, we have never seen a miracle. many events have defied our ability to explain, but we are convinced that we failed because we are still woefully ignorant bout the universe and not because a deity altered the workings of nature."

"a god wouldnt have to alter nature to accomplish his will" asserted eragon, "he could do it within the system that already exists....he could use magic to affect events..."

oromis smiled, "very true. but ask yourself this, eragon. if god ever exist, hav they been good custodians of Alagaesia? death, sickness,poverty,tyranny and countless other miseries stalk the land. if this is the handiwork of divine beings, then they are to be rebelled against and overthrown, not given obeisance, obedience and reverance."

"but the dwarves believes---"

"exactly! the dwarves believes. when it comes to certain matters, they rely upon faith rather than reason. they have even been known to ignore proven facts that contradict their dogma..."

and the whole conversation goes on makin such an impact on eragon that he went several days tinkin that his master had upturned whatever he had believed in since he was young.

though his master's advise to him was..."depend on yourself watever comes...that makes us more responsible to our actions and not blame it on some gods that we believed in..."

very interestin perspective of paolini to convey this message in his book...of cos i do not hundred percent agree...but still...worth bringin it up... =)

had a great time readin this book and i cant wait for the last volume of this inheritance trilogy...

i was still awake ard 5...i kinda foresee that i wun be able to wake up for sch...so i msged kevin...lols...so i woke up real late and i jus spent my monday afternn doin senseless stuff instead of studyin for met bio....>.<

jus finished bleach epi 109...had lotsa thoughts after watchin it...so decided to blog about it...

well..the bounto war jus ended...and this epi is kinda like a buff epi to bring the whole show into the right track for the nxt epi...drawings were definitely better tis epi n hope it continues on...

jus got bac fr tzeyang's bdae party after my work...its a simple affair...beside the esplanade wif a cpuple of liquour....namely scotch and chivas....i jus got home...kinda marboh...lol

most ppl started sch....and as usual i always hav tt time lag when sch starts again...will be laggin in everytin...and the bad thing is tt exams are jus 3wks after the sch reopenin...wats botherin mi aint jus exams...lotsa activities too...Haiz...

well at least sumting good to report...i slepT for the longest time at home last night...wOOO...

had dinner at Riverside Indonesian Restaurant...den moved from one side of clark quay to another where we had a couple of house pours at bungee bar...n Geees....there was this waitress who is damn chio...sharp features...killer look...>.<

too bad we din stay for long...took a cab down to dempsey road to elroy's workplace for wine...wine company...tts the name of the place...very desolated place...but nice ambience...opened 2 bottles of white wine...a couple of heineken, b-52, black label for countdown..n more heineken at shiyun's workplace down the road...Oosh...tts the name of her workplace...a freakin high end fine dining place...

we had the countdown at wine company...n i downed 4 shots of black label after the clock strikes 12....each representin my new year resolutions which i shall not disclose...lols

guess it was a fruitful trip dere for mi definitely...drank alot...tok alot...after which is to sher hse...play cards, drank sumore...

n eventually elroy doug n i cui-ed on the bed while the rest left in the mornin...we were down all the way till 4...n jus got home...hahas...

might get to drink again tonite...soccer tonite...still decidin whose hse to go...guess i shuld go get sum slp to make sure i will stay awake tonite...ciaos...
