exams are less than 2 weeks away n detoxin has stopped to allow for some destress.

this sem has got to b my heaviest yet with 5 papers. really gotta start early to prevent any cork ups.

mummy is doin fine with a pretty long lay off from treatments by the docs. took this chance to go on a holiday in Taiwan with sis. she has enjoyed herself tremendously. and i pray for her to be like this for a very very long time

on a side note, made myself a new fren recently. it was a typical boy meets girl, boy asked for number situation. lets see how it pans out in the near future.

thank god for havin classes on fridays... i have not been partyin much since im bac from the taiwan trip

detoxing phase. it feels good that i hav been gettin occupied with gg for runs and swims rather den booze in clubs

im not a party animal deep within. i really enjoy this kinda lifestyle.

i need to explore more things to do n broaden my horizens. I Need MORE HOBBIES!

life can be more enrichin doin other stuff.

New Challenges! Fight on Alven!!

No posts cos I have been partyin too hard recently... No biggies.

I have just embarked on a few new challenges. There is some risks involved but no pain no gain.

I would really needa work my ass off to make this work. time is already limited as it is... but im still gona push myself to make all this work out.

Despite the outcomes I am sure these challenges are just gona make me a stronger character.

I always tell myself that i CAN BE BETTER AND WILL BE.

priorities have to be readjusted. certain adjustments have to be done.

i have always believe that my fate is in my hands. no one but me myself can determine the path i take.

Boring Weekend

few hours before the weekend expires.

was home the past 2 days doin nothin but couch potato.

the only good thing that comes out from this is that at least im in my mum's company.

Mummy condition

It's been almost 2 months since we discovered mum's condition.

3 cycles of chemo, no improvements yet an increase in her cancer cell count.

Very demoralizing.

No fear!

We shall persevere. Arranging a new and stronger course of chemotherapy for her.

That's missing in lots of people around me. I need to know people with the same amount of spontaneity to broaden my knowledge.

Phuture is now the past.

Those were the days where the idea of going to Phuture just sexed me up.

Latest hits compounded with the sleazy lights and the never ending supply of booze. Oh, and also the ladies.

These are all memories of the past.

We have grown out of it. Mostly due to the fact that we are unable to "gel" with the tons of young boys & girls frolicking in the dancefloor.

Suddenly the thought of squeezing in the "human flesh mob" just seemed so much less attractive.

I find enjoyment talking to people and engaging in conversations. More often than not, I get the "Are you trying to talk me into having sex?" look.

Here's a list of the types of people in club that I would choose to talk to:

The guy that is always welcoming strangers to their table to get a drink

The lady that seems engrossed playin her phone

Beer drinking ladies.

Happy Caucasians.

People smoking alone

Ladies with killer heels.

These people tend to have an interesting story to share.

Talking to strangers is probably the best way to work on your social skills.

So please do keep an open mind about talking to strangers in clubs.

So much has happened since my last post in July.

Started my job at Sigma,

Started my degree in SIM.

Gillian's wedding

Everything was going pretty smoothly since my ORD.

Yet, we were hit by the news that Mummy has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer on 9th December.


Every problem seemed so miniscule after the news.

Never did we expect such thing to fall upon us. She has always been so healthy. She is the foundation of our family, the ever sturdy, reliable and loving mother.

Its been close to a month since the news, I would say we are coping well and she has proven her mettle when going against such ordeal. She is still full of hope and living each day purposefully.

Its heartwarming to see her smile, eat her dishes, and just spending quality time with her.

Support from family and friends were immensed, I am truly grateful.

Its going to be a long & tough fight for you Mummy... but we will always be there for you.

Job n school secured! 12 July marks the start of my workin life and
also the end of world cup.

A fresh start and I intend to put all efforts into these. For the
first time in my life, I'm on my own. Hope to carve a niche for
myself. This is for real. No more going with the flow.

The city that never slps... It's always clearer when u see things on
the outside and that's exactly what the lion city looks like from the
sea. It's back light scattering the black velvet waters... So
Comforting at times...

In a few weeks time I will depart fr SPF and become an integral (or
so I hope) part of the working class of this bustling city. So much to
look forward to!

Wooots! Caught in the middle of raffles place lunch rush hour.
EVeryone zoomin past purposefully. Hectic yet says it all bout
singapore's bloomin economy.

All the talk about flyin to other countries to see the world but I
realized that I hven really seen everything bout my own motherland.
Perhaps it's time to explore Singapore.

Every streets and corners have their own stories and i tink it's
really interesting. Bout time to get to know Singapore, havin lived
here all my life.

Wat a mornin to start off the week... Rainin cats and dogs. And me
makin my way to base for p1 duty. Hopefully the sea out dere ain't too
rough..

The rain brings out one of the most basic mammalistic instincts a
human has. U see dozens of parents protecting their children,
shielding them from the rain under the umbrellas. It's natural that
the offsprings are protected by their parents. I do hope that the
young will appreciate what their parents did for them cos for me, I
hav reached the stage where I gotta take care of myself.

Time never looks back. Look forward and learn to be appreciative of
the people who care for u...!

We will be marching into the dusk of this decade in a few hours time
and Im prob gona welcome 2010 with a very very drained body.
Nonetheless I'm still Gona make sure tauhuay and I have a great time
tonight.

Lots to look forward to in the new year. World cup, my ord, my sister
wedding and my future. I prob had a very crazy 2009 and I know that I
prob can't live another year like this one again. So I'm gona savour
every last min of 2009...

inside. It's a vey small issue that is not worth brooding over and
spoiling the mood of today.

Punctuality is a virtue and it's always unfair to the ppl who abides
to it... Some people really dun feel the shame of letin ppl wait. Once
in a while I can understand but please for goodness sake. Not
everytime!!!
